The movie tells the story of father and his only son,who loves the game of cricket more than anything and Mammootty’s character in the movie has the named as 'Antony Simon', who is an officer by profession in the crime branch. Also in the cast of this movie are Indrajith & Kalabhavan Mani.The maker's of the movie have started searching for fresh faces to appear as the child artist in the film.Mammootty will appear as a cool 'daddy' in the new film directed by 'debutante Aashiq Abu'. Daddy Cool- produced by' Alwin Antony' has also in its group, Big B fame ,Samir Taahir as the cinematographer. Anil Panachooran, Biji Bal team was handling the music for this movie.
